The world famous - top of the range - Swift Audubon ED 8.5x 44 BWCF was originally created to specifications from a survey of a group of world renowned ornithologists. Today, although there are two other Audubon binoculars available - the BWCF and DCF Roof Prism models - these have been improved still further by the use of ED - extra low dispertion glass.

Following the same time-tested optical formulae, Swift have now produced a fully waterproof model with an exceptional wide field of view, multi-coated optics, retractable eyecups for spectacle wearers and a close focusing distance of 3m, which is unsurpassed for field observation and nature study.

Due to its large 44mm objectives, the brightness and crisp clarity of image makes it suitable for a variety of uses such as bird-watching, nature-watching and general purpose viewing. The overall size and weight of the instrument makes it attractive to carry anywhere, anytime.
