The world famous Audubon 8.5x 44 DCF 828HHS is the first roof prism to equal the quality of the original 8.5x44 Audubon, offering the same BaK4 prisms, high quality lenses, fully multi-coated lenses and phase-coatings. This light weight, compact binocular is nitrogen purged and fully waterproof.

The rubber armouring gives this binocular an attractive look and allows for a comfortable grip. The twist-up eyecups lock in the 'up' position to prevent drifting and are more durable than standard rubber eyecups. The 828HHS offers longer eye relief at 19mm, giving spectacle wearers a better view and a minimum focusing distance of under 3m - getting you closer to birds and butterflies.

A NEW FEATURE added to the 828HHS is the centre focus diopter ring. Located on the top of the focusing knob, is a pop-up diopter ring. This design allows for a more convenient and more precise focus and locks to prevent the diopter from shifting.

The 828HHS is the last binocular Humphrey H. Swift, longtime president of SWIFT OPTICS, personally worked on, before his death. In honour of his love for birding and dedication to Swift, these binoculars are fondly called the HHS - in his memory.
